DEVELOPMENT PLANS

The priority development plans of the Provincial Government for the year 2002 will be focused on the rehabilitation of the calamity stricken sectors. Mandated by law and bound by the principle of effective, efficient and rational utilization of resources, we will vigorously implement the PROVINCIAL PLAN FOR THE REHABILITATION (PPR) of affected sectors, thru this six-point agenda: 

A -Accelerated Rehabilitation of Damaged Infrastructure and affected socio-economic sector. 

C - Comprehensive delivery of basic services. 

T - Tourism Cluster Development for the Enhancement of our Tourism   Industry.     

N - Networking with Local Government Units, National Government Agencies and Nongovernment Organization (NGOs) for an effective delivery of programs and projects. 

O - Operationalization of four Councils (Peace and Order, Provincial Development Council, Provincial Disaster Coordinating Council and Nutrition Council) down to the barangay level. 

W - Wide and Ready Access to livelihood financial assistance thru our Spanish Assistance for Integrated Livelihood (SAIL) project, Plant Now Pay Later Program and other government and private financing institutions.
