The
island province registered a total population of 64,247
in 1990; 68,039 in 1995 and 742,32 in the year 2000.
As of May 1, 2000 National Census, Mambajao accounted
41% of the total population; Mahinog-17 %; Guinsiliban-7%;
Sagay-14% and Catarman- 21%. (Figure 1)
